Chris Maher has a Bachelor of Fine Art degree in
Photographic Illustration from Rochester Institute of Technology and a
Master of Art degree in Visual Communications from Southern Illinois
University.
He has earned a living as a fine art photographer selling his original
photographic prints for more than 25 years.
Current work includes his “Spirit Series”, photographs of smoke that are
remarkably anthropomorphic and his “Figure Series”, an articulation of
female spirit in nature and studio (www.DreamsOfTheGoddess.com).
Recent writings include co-authorship of the book “50 Fast Digital Camera
Techniques” (Wiley Publishing, Inc) and regular columns in Shutterbug
Magazine.
